UPVC Trickle Vents 11th May 18 at 9:24 AM
    Hi all
I have just moved into a house, that I have just purchased.

To cut a long story short, the house was/is badly nicotine stained however the clean up and decoration is coming along nicely.

Anyway the trickle vents on the double glazing, are caked in the stuff they are the clip on sort so the housing for the flaps clips onto the UPVC Frame at the top of the window.

I have taken them off, and could clean them up but I think I just want to replace them with new ones.

The trouble is they are the clip on sort where plastic clips clip into the long oblong hole in the frame Ive scoured the internet but can only find the screw in sort I really want to be able just to clip new one in.

The windows where installed in 1999 by Scholes Windows of Huddersfield who are no longer trading.

Does anyone know anywhere, where I can buy clip on ones.
Im sorry but I dont have a photograph right now to show you what the original ones look like

    Many Thanks

Thank you - I will have a look.

Unfortunately replacing the windows right now, is not an option which is why I am just looking to buy new vents :-)
