    LBC from Gladstones

LBC from Gladstones 10th May 18 at 7:49 PM
    Hi,

I have just received an LBC from Gladstones about a PCN deposited the driver’s windshield 2 years ago.

There has not been any communication about this claim for about a year but I had replied to them early in the process once a letter had been sent to say that I wouldn’t pay due to the VRN being incorrect on the ticket.

I have, in hindsight, been quite foolish in responding to the LBC with the same defence through their online form (with a photo of the ticket which I still have) and having read through the posts and a lot of the Newbie section, I should probably be a bit more robust in the defence.

Circumstances were a school drop off where the driver parked in newly designated pay car park which is part free/private and part chargeable and if I remember clearly, the signage wasn’t great. The initial fee was something like 40p for 15 minutes ( specifically targeting parents from the school) and the fine is now standing at £160.

I will draft up a letter to send but would appreciate some guidance on how to properly structure this and which elements I should ensure I include.

    Thanks

American car then, or American poster? No such thing here.

Which PPC is bothering you? Some do court, some do not. All are beatable.
PRIVATE PCN? DON'T PAY BUT DO NOT IGNORE IT TWO Clicks needed for advice:

Advice to ignore is WRONG, unless in Scotland/NI.
