Were taking the motorhome down to the South of France this summer. Can anyone recommend a stop-off point half way down, around Dijon perhaps?

Dijon, or Beaune if you want to go a little further.

Many towns, even small ones have free overnight motorhome stands. I would look through the municipal sites where you want to stop.

    Personally i would avoid Dijon
Last time we drove down we stopped at Belfort which is a much nicer town and well worth a visit.

We stayed at a small town near Dijon, called Dole. Quietish, but a small choice of bars & cafes.
