bbq gas bottles - storage? 8th May 18 at 3:00 PM
    Hi all,

It might seem like a silly question but where is best to store these gas bottles, just in the garden (direct sunlight though?) or in the shed at the bottom of the garden?

    Thanks,
    Mac

In the garden seems a bit chavy, but maybe you keep an old sofa there too ;-)

I always put it in the shed with the BBQ. Bottom of garden last house. Attached the house this time.

    Calor say https://www.calor.co.uk/storing-gas-bottles

Calor patio gas is propane. So outdoors ideally, But many of us will lock them away in a well ventilated shed for security's sake.

Look where petrol stations etc store them too awaiting sale - usually just secured to prevent theft.

Depending on where you live, my concern for leaving them outside is theft. However, you should be able to secure them with a decent bike lock or two.
