Thanks for the new thread Chris :)

I've got a nasty cold from somewhere and CBA to go shopping today

I managed to cobble together a menu for today but I'll have to go sometime tomorrow.

    Today's EE plan :
B: NAS Ribena, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
    L: LO veg with potatoes
D: baked hake parcel (onions, tomatoes, mushrooms) with mash, asparagus and broccoli
    Syns :1 for Parmesan

We were meant to have SW chips but I had a phone call at the parboil stage so we ended up with mash! :D

    Well.

We ended up with Chinese takeaway tonight, bank holiday treat!
Loads of speed but goodness knows what it was cooked in.
    Few g&t's as well.

Back to it now ready for the first week of the new challenge.
Hope everyone manages their target including me!

I've been good today too despite no sleep last night at all.

Breakfast poached egg and whole meal toast (HEB)
Lunch steak cooked on barbecue with salad and feta cheese (HEA) 2 syns
Dinner vegetable frittata with goats cheese (4 syns)
Snack mini milk ice cream (1.5 syns)

I did snooze for a couple of hours mid afternoon. I'm still quite stressed but hoping for better night tonight.

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

    Weight loss 3 stone :D

Morning campers! It was so nice to see a nice new shiny thread, it feels as if my weekend has been truly put to bed and I can start afresh. I had a bad weekend:eek: It was a friends significant birthday and I was helping with her party. In the grand scheme of things, I did ok on Saturday, had a good SW breakfast to keep me going for the day, which was fab. She had caterers sort out the food, of which I ate a little bit of a shish, little bit of salad, a little bit of curry, and a single veggie samosa, all told less than a side plate of food. I didn't get a chance to eat properly, none of us helping did, as we were ensuring her family & everyone else was looked after and trying to keep on top of the washing up as the dish washer can only take so much. However, I will confess to having had some apple tart & cream. If anyone here has had Costco apple tart, you will know why I had it! Only had about 1", but it was lush!

On Sunday, she took us out to lunch as a thank you for our help, had roast beef, but forgot to tell them not to put gravy on it, not a lover of gravy, not withstanding the syns:o. However, as they all had breakfast and I hadn't I have to confess to gravely synning with a starter, omg it was divine, beef croquettes served in melted gorgonzola, I had died & gone to heaven, not had "proper" cheese since I started SW, so it was ecstasy for me.

So today, I am back on track, plan this week was to maintain, not sure that will happen now, but will do my best.

    Breakfast today was overnight oats
    Lunch is Naked noodles
Dinner will be spag bol, salad, lots of speed veg with it.
    Lots of fruit & water

    Have a good one everyone.
A smile costs little but creates much :)

    Morning all.
After last fortnights dive off track I'm being really good so far this week - the weather helps as it gets me in a salad mood.

    Plan for today

    B: Melon
    L: Stuffed mushrooms
D: Either courgetti bolognese or SW chicken tikka masala with cauli rice

Snacks: 1/2 HEXB Alpen light, easy peelers, red pepper
Syns: none planned (Have only used 9 so far since Saturday so may treat myself to a 5.5 kit kat - although the warm weather means I don't fancy chocolate so much, I'm not going to have one just to use syns if I don't fancy it)
