    only post once in the thread I can see if you delete earlier posts and will just delete the repost

    no referral splits , you cannot ask for or give away any of the referral moneys

    Any posts that mention their referral in their signature will be removed

    it's ok to post in this thread if you posted on the last thread

    No chat posts , it's a referral thread

    my personal view is that you should choose a user with some "proper" posting history over a period of time rather than a new "1 post wonder" after the plague of suspicious new users in the old thread that all seemed to be the same person in the end

    To get the 100, you will need to switch your main current account to a Nationwide FlexAccount, FlexPlus or FlexDirect account within 90 days of the recommendation, and transfer at least two Direct Debits as part of the switch

    If you would like me to refer you so that we can both get 100 switch bonus then please send me a PM for a referral link.

    In order to qualify you must switch to a Nationwide FlexAccount, FlexDirect or FlexPlus current account using their switch service, transfer at least two active direct debits and tick the box to close your old account. You must also not close or transfer the account again for a mininum of three months or they'll take the money back. Once the switch is complete you'll be given a unique Switch Code, then all you need to do is use the Referral Link and enter the code, then both you and I will get 100 paid into our accounts. No personal information is exchanged.

    Hi guys,

    Just saw last year's thread got closed so I'm posting in here.
    I have referral links ready to go out to anyone who would like one and have plenty of experience in the switch/referral process if you have any questions please feel free to PM me and I usually respond pretty quickly.

    The process is - you apply for a Nationwide account and then meet the switching criteria to get the bonus. Here is the criteria:

    - Switch a current account to Nationwide using their full switching service. This includes closure of your old account.
    - Transfer at least 2 direct debits
    - Not close the account for 3 months

    Once you start the switch you'll get a unique switch code which you need to enter in the unique referral link I will send to you. This allows nationwide to track the referral and issue the bonus

    At the risk of sounding daft can someone please confirm do i open the account first , then initiate the switch and then use the referral link ? Any idea of timescale for all this ? I am hoping to claim 100 as im not happy with first direct at all and would like to combine the two if possible.

    Long-standing MSE forumite here, successfully referred a few people to Nationwide on the old system a year or two ago.

    Happy to refer people using the new system - which just needs me to send you a unique referral link, so no personal info needed between the two of us at all. I have three links ready to be used;

    All I need from you is a PM (click on my username to send me a PM) asking for a link and then all you need to do is follow the link and switch a non-Nationwide current account account to a Nationwide FlexAccount, FlexPlus or FlexDirect account within 90 days of the recommendation, and transfer at least two Direct Debits as part of the switch.

    The link will take you to a page saying:

    1. You'll need to open one of our FlexAccount, FlexDirect or FlexPlus current accounts. If you already have a Nationwide current account, you can still be recommended if you switch your main non-Nationwide current account to us. As part of the switch you must transfer at least 2 Direct Debits (standing orders and recurring card payments do not qualify).

    2. Then do a full account switch to move your existing account to us
    The process is easy thanks to the Current Account Switch Service which takes seven working days. Many providers are signed up to this service. If they aren't, you can still apply manually on our site.

    3. Enter your switch code
    Once your switch has started, you will be given an 18 digit switch code beginning FSW. Please enter this code [on the page the unique link takes you to] as this is how we make sure you and your friend get 100 each. Save the email you were sent (or bookmark this page) so you can come back and add your switch code if you haven't yet started your switch. If you switched manually and do not have a code, visit our FAQ page.
    The bit in bold italics is important as if you do not have an existing Nationwide account to switch into you will need to open one first. Then, when it is open and you've started a switch into it you'll have your switch code. You'll have to follow the unique link again to make sure the switch is linked to the referral. Otherwise neither of us get our bonus!.
