    Between us we have 8 i products in our household and not one of them has ever been connected to itunes. There are plenty of other products out there to use.

    You don't own anything on Itunes, you are just 'borrowing' in perpetuity until they close the service, then you loose access to it.

    You don't own anything on Itunes, you are just 'borrowing' in perpetuity until they close the service, then you loose access to it.

    Not true. Tracks bought from iTunes can be played perfectly well with other software. They are stored on the hard drive and don't have DRM so you are free to play them with whatever you want.

    too late for me. i ditched apple 15 years ago after they stole/conned me out of my music
