Lost favourite apps on IE home page 15th Apr 18 at 10:33 PM
Hi I use internet explorer a lot.

I used to have little tiles/apps of my favourite web sites in a sting across my home page.

They have now disappeared and I can't seem to get them back.

    Can anyone help please?

If its anything like other browsers, right click in to top bar and there should be an option something like 'Bookmarks Toolbar' which you tick.

    Favourites bar.

When you say its not quite doing the trick, what does that mean ?
A bar is appearing but without your favourites, or no bar ?

These icons appeared by themselves after an IE update and they updated themselves to the most frequently used sites.

They've now disappeared and I wanted them back.

They would be your "Frequent" sites when you click on New Tab. Is there an option to reopen closed tabs, "Hide sites" and "Discover other sites you might like"? I cleared one of mine accidentally and had to use the reopen option. It worked. Otherwise it takes a while to rebuild your frequently visited sites provided you haven't accidentally clicked on "Hide sites".
