How can I burn a music cd? 14th Apr 18 at 7:37 PM
Hi I have some recordings that I want to put on a cd.
I have tried so many times and the laptop seems to go through the process but the cd is empty.
There is no copy right to the music as it's recording of the kids playing instruments.
I have tried, nero, iTunes, windows media player and magix audio cleaning lab.

    please help

    tia

You need to burn it as an Audio CD or Redbook CD. You may just be copying mp3 files to it, and that won't play in a regular CD player.

Put one of these CDs in your drive, and open it with windows file explorer or similar. If it's a regular audio CD, you'll get a file list with files of 1Kb, file type 'CD audio track'. If you've copied mp3s to it, these will have a file type of 'mp3 audio file' .

you don't need anymore software, windows media player should have been able to burn music to cd. Is the cd ok? is the file format compatible?
