Holiday Insurance Query 13th Apr 18 at 7:18 PM
Hi Guys, i've booked a holiday to Alicante for myself and 5 other family members (in Aug).
The thing is, one family member will not be able to travel at that time due to serious illness.
If i cancel the holiday (because we would prefer for all of us to go on holiday at the end of the year instead), what's the likelihood that we will receive cancellation compensation?

Was the condition known about at the time of booking? If so, was it declared on all policies? How close a family member? Are you on a group policy or individual ones?

    Lots of variables here.

And what does the policy actually say? This exact situation is sometimes covered explicitly.
