Nationwide Select - authorisation slow today? 13th Apr 18 at 1:32 PM
Has anyone used their Nationwide credit card today and found the authorisation painfully slow?

I'm currently in France and made about five transactions today, all very slow (over one minute once). One timed out in Lidl, but went through eventually second time.

The local cards seem to go through as quickly as you'd expect.

It is probably unrelated but Nationwide have what appears to be significant maintenance planned for this weekend.

Used it again in a cafe this afternoon. Went through very quickly.

Must've just been an intermittent problem (possibly all the retailers were using the save French bank).
