Facebook stolen data message 12th Apr 18 at 12:05 PM
Has anybody actually received the fabled message in their timeline yet to tell you whether or not you are one of the 87 million whose data was stolen?

There's been nothing in mine so far, the implication a few days ago was that it would be appearing that day, obviously that isn't the case so does anyone know how long the roll out will take?

They said on the news that we'd all get one message or the other "within 24 hours". That was several days ago & I've seen nothing yet.

Did they? I though they said you'd only get a message IF you'd been affected?

Think it's USA only at the moment.

Had conflicting reports about it being "worldwide" or "USA Only" but at least one of my Facebook friends in the US have gotten the message and I know I was a friend of theirs during the time frame in question and I've not received anything...

What I haven't seen anywhere is a timeline for the messages to be displayed. It could be that S0litaire is right that they've started in the USA, in which case all the UK news outlets rather jumped the gun by announcing it too early.
