Holding account for inheritance 11th Apr 18 at 6:42 PM
Hi, Iím due to receive an inheritance of approx £40k. Mid to long term I will get some independent financial advice about possible investments. I wondered in the meantime where is the best place to pay the cheque in to? I want to keep it separate from my current account and existing savings and Iíd like to keep easy access so I can transfer funds after Iíve taken advice.

Any ideas on what to ask for or should I just ask in my bank?

    Thanks
    MM

It sounds like you want an easy access savings account. Tesco will pay you 1.25%, as will Shawbrook Bank.
