Nationwide taking ages! 9th Apr 18 at 10:33 AM
    Hi
We had our survey on 28th March and the same day Nationwide text to say they have received the report and will review it. Then a minute later we received the mortgage offer text which was great! Nearly been 2 weeks but still haven't received the official offer in the post which is really frustrating!

What's everyone elses timeline with Nationwide etc?

    Thanks

Have you factored in bank holidays? You can ring them and they will tell you if it was sent out and when etc. Have you checked with solicitor if they received it?

Took ages for us - 2 weeks for them to get the survey done, then a week to acknowledge the survey had been received, another few days to look at the survey, and another few days to give the offer. And then they forgot to send it to the solicitors. Good job we weren't in a hurry!

The estate agent advised last week our solicitor has received it. We are assuming the delays are because of the bank holidays. If it doesn't come today I will contact our broker to chase

It might have been sent to your broker. My one went to the broker and he sent it to me after. Check with your broker.

Offers are mailed to applicant and solicitor, posted second class.

They can often take two weeks to arrive.
