so how long do you think you will wait for the code to be posted?

it's weird as we don't have a plan like we usually do to get the code...

I live in the middle of nowhere 2 hours or more from any city so no way i can get a paper....

oh to live in central london on nights like this...

Duinrell is so great, kids love the Theme Park and buzzing around on Bikes and Go-carts
Weather is fine, it rains but soon stops, we got to bike to the beach yesterday

    Hello essex boy

    good to see you ...

so at Dunreill - is it a park you can go to in the colder months?

is the swimming pool indoors? i can see all the flumes on the pictures but don't know if they end up in an indoor or outdoor pool?

We love Butlins for the colder months as the pools are indoors and great !

Hi, personality I prefer Butlins Waterworld
Duinrell is white knuckle, me and the kids only go on two boat rides, the slides without boats look well scary
It has a swimming area with wave machine, and a few juccussis
It also has a children's water world section but my Grandkids refused to go there, they think it's for younger children lol
It is all indoors, they have an outdoor swimming pool but that's only for Summer
Weathers strange here, very unpredictable, we was here in October and had a heatwave
If weather did turn, Theme Park and go carts would be unpleasant, it would mean spending more time and money in the Waterworld

    so the waterworld is extra?

My kids are teenagers now and very strong swimmers and LOVE scary slides, flumes etc BUT do not do theme parks - we live near Alton Towers but they hate it...

so if we went to Dunreill it would be for the waterworld mostly.. thinking of looking for it for October or Easter next year when that promotion is on

The Waterworld is extra but discounted
2 hours is 5 euros, 3 hours is 6 euros, or stay as long as you like for 7 euros
As they don't like Theme parks 7 euros would be best but once you leave you'd have to pay again to return

yea, but 7 euros a day X 4 does add up

i suppose you could have days when you went in there and days when you went off site exploring..

Hi essex boy. Me and my 2 young girls were also too afraid to go on the big water slides when we visited duinrell in Oct. but we loved the theme park. The big old fashioned carousel in the pancake restaurant is amazing they played on it for hours. Are you going to visit Efteling whilst your their it!!!8217;s so magical, especially for young children. I think it rivals Disney.

No, shame but we never got there
Too much to do onsite, plus Lucianos wonderful ice cream parlour in town

That carousel is from 1864 and used to be pulled by horses

    Thanks for the link.
We didn!!!8217;t get chance last time to visit the ice cream place but we did eat at the nice Italian restaurant in town....can!!!8217;t remember the name of it now. It!!!8217;s the little one you see on your left just before the high street. My youngest daughter loves frogs (it was her first word!! Lol) so she loved duinrell as they are everywhere you turn ha ha.
