    *Make upto 10 a day April 2018* 30th Mar 18 at 1:22 AM
    Hello and welcome everybody

This is the 128th month of this challenge, which was first started by Batgirl, in September 2007. A link here to the original thread as I am sure some of you are interested to read where it all began.

Thanks to Batgirl for starting it, lynnejk and ALL posters, for helping us to keep the thread going. Thanks to previous challengers who used to run this thread too, Rawdinosaur, Emmaglet, Nat21luv, Monkeynut, Sweetpeas, Purpleroses, JesaRose, MizMir.

I have decided to rename this challenge as reading posts, it seems to put people off thinking they HAVE TO make 10 a day.

    You don't.

The original purpose of this challenge was to help people to try and make an extra 10 a day on top of their normal income to help things along. Ie paying off debt, making savings, paying for holidays, overpaying mortgages etc.

That is exactly what this challenge is about, attempting to make extra income on top of your normal income to help you wherever you need it.

People start the challenge by setting a goal of 1 a day. Then when they find they are smashing this regularly, they up it to 5 a day. Some of us gluttons for punishment go for 10 a day. It really is entirely upto you. We only ask you to post what your goal is to help you keep motivated. Some days you make more and some days you make less, but aim for extra at the end of the month.

The idea is that everyone posts how they are making extra money and these shared ideas help all of us to learn new ways to help cut debt or earn/save money.

    What cannot be added:
    Wages from your main job

    What can be added:
    Overtime
    Income from a second job
    Daily clicks
    Interest
    Vouchers
    Mystery shopping
    And much, much more.

This board moves pretty quickly, so be sure to subscribe and read it regularly.

    Link to previous thread.

So who wants to kick 2018 into a financially working for you year?

Join this challenge and let's make those bank accounts fat, mortgages paid off, holidays paid off, savings account grow fatter, debts paid off and much much more!!!

Just an update on the 3 books I sold on Amazon and the eBay sales of craft stuff from last weekend. Money now received for all so I'm adding a total of 27.42

Also, used a 5 voucher and 1.35 in MOCs at Morrisons yesterday.

That's April off to a start with 33.77

I hope everyone is having an enjoyable weekend

    Morning,

A quick one from me..my 70 has gone into the bank so a total of 172.05 so far this month. I also sold some books yesterday. Need to box them up and send them off and I'll add that money once I've received it.

Kantankrus Mare Very envious of you cutting down your hours. I'd love to get to working just 3 or 4 days a week but there's a way to go before I get to that. Enjoy it

    Thanks Frankie And I will.

I think the thing thats been frustrating me is the fact my OH works 3 days a week giving him so much more spare time than I have. Of course he earns a dam site more than I do and they are 12 hour shifts with silly hours.

Ive been playing around with figures in my head for the last year or two and working out how I could manage it.

    Your time will come!

Hi everyone. Nice to see people are making money and doing well.
I have had a very quiet week as the children are both off school. Tomorrow one goes back and the eldest has one more week off... (perks of living on a county border!)

So tomorrow my eldest and I will be gardening. Spent most of the week digging the garden and making a wartime style vegetable garden... Hopefully it will save us money in the long run... The garden centre has sucked all of our money up this month though BUT we will have all of our food home grown for a few months this summer. (and we are still using last years onion crop, plus wintered leeks and cabbages...thats probably saved a fair few pounds a month over the winter)

money wise I have sold a few books on amazon,
had a small part of my missing wages paid - BUT NO Payslip to check it... (from zero hours contract work), quidco cashback and bank interest... So I start April with a lovely big 307.36 of my target (900)...

I must get cracking on eBay and carbooting... need to declutter... Where does it all come from???? I never go shopping... maybe the pixies bring it in!!!

My cc is 600 healthier and I vow to not use it this month (although I only have 3 in the bank so might not manage that promise!!)

Good luck everyone out there xx

    Well done

Is iMutual any good? I've used TopCashback and Quidco for years but have never tried iMutual. I've noticed on the Cashback Maximiser that iMutual sometimes pays out at a marginally higher rate than the 2 big players but I was a bit doubtful about risking it.

not that keen on all the cashack sites anyway lol.

ISA interest and a few more sales on ebay has made this a great start - over 100 already made this month.

Hi all. Continuing to have a nightmare this end... Will it ever end?

Baby has been to the doctors the times in under a week. His skin infection got better with his new cream, but he has now a deeper infection and a scarily large lump appeared. Back on the antibiotics and if not better in 24 hours could be hospital

Poor baby isn't sleeping well because of it and had gone off his food that he usually wolfs down. So after less than three hours sleep for the last eight days, now got a week of antibiotics getting up in the middle of the night. Luckily my work have been understanding thus far.

Decided to use some of my savings to do the storage build we need and my garden is going to be started at the end of the month. Looking forward to this and just trying to get through each day at the moment...

Hope everyone is having a fruitful month. KM I am jealous of your part time I have also started to look at figures and see if I could drop one day... We'll see..

Sending hugs, Jess, for you and the little one. Let's hope things improve for both of you very soon. No wonder you are exhausted.

Just some cashback to report. Claimed various very small payments which had become payable in both TCB and Quidco. Shows how little I spend in general when the sum total from 7 different transactions only amounted to 11.72 but every little helps.

I've 3 items in a sale at my local auction rooms tomorrow but not holding out much hope for bidding wars.

    Have a good week, everyone
