Hargreaves Lansdown Form 14th Mar 18 at 9:27 AM
    Hello,

I am filling in the online form.

I care for someone over 16.

It asks me for retirement age? Would I just put the age I am now?

    I am over 55.

    Thank you.

Form for what? If it's some sort of pension arrangement, you need to give them the age at which you would like to draw benefits from the pension. You can change your mind later - but they are required to give you a projection of how your fund might grow, and to do that they need a retirement age (however fluid that proves in practice!).

It won't make any difference to what you are doing.

The retirement age is purely for statements to give an income projection to. Not when you actually will be forced to take it.
