Help with landlord again please. 13th Mar 18 at 1:00 PM
My two year tenancy agreement ran feb 14th 2015 till Feb 13th 2017. Since then I have been in a month to month periodic tenancy. I have recently left this property giving one months notice. When I signed the tenancy I paid an extra 250 for two weeks rent to enable my payments for rent to come out of my bank on the 28th of the month, pay day.
When I have notice I have it from the 14th Feb 18 till the 13th March 18. Is this right?? Or have I made a mistake?? The landlord is annoying me with this issue. I have given him 275 to cover the two months re t into March 2018.
Thanks for any help again. Much appreciated.

You have to give a full periods notice. On what date did you serve notice (not send it, serve it)?

Hi thanks for the reply I gave notice on the 14th Feb to end on 13th March. Looks like what I have done is correct.

Though arguably that is one day short of a full period.........

Hopefully the LL won't make it an issue though.
