    I've just been paid the Warm Home Discount on my most recent bill. My tariff runs out on 31 March 2018 and so I can now switch without exit fees, but if I switch before then will my current billing firm want the Warm Home Discount back?

    As post 2. It is a grant, if you will, not a loan. You either qualify for it or you do not. If you do, it is yours.

    Remember though to check any new supplier you choose offers WHD so you can still claim it Winter 2018

    Yes, I'll definitely check the conditions of any new supplier. It has to be factored in when comparing prices.
