Slow bb with bt 3mb 11th Mar 18 at 6:22 PM
According to bt my line can support up to 3 mb I used to be. With sky bt and it was very slow. With bt although mac is 3mb it has been too bad as am a light user. I am thinking of switching to plus net when my contract with bt runs out as I a, not paying 42.99 for bb. I am wondering whether I will experience slower bb speed as with sky? When my brother was down my neighbour kindly let me use her virgin and I could get a much faster speed. I have considered going to virgin but do not want them to dig as have got brick driveway. Thanks

Virgin is a high speed dedicated cable .

Really you need to find out why speed is bad .
Are you measuring over wifi or the true speed via Ethernet cable .
Wifi can be degraded in your home or you have poor channel setting .
BT Sky PN all use the same Open Reach cable .
