If at first you don't succeed? 10th Mar 18 at 5:38 PM
My husband went through a third party to claim PPI on numerous accounts and cards, and received a payout, but some claims were rejected. However the claims company got back in touch encouraging him to try again because of the recent changes (and obviously sensing they can make some more commission). In the meantime, I did my own claim following the advice on here, which was also successful (a Dorothy Perkins card taken out in 1987). I'd like to know if I can try again for my husband's claims that were initially rejected? (they were joint store cards, rejected because he ticked the box and signed the application form). Is it okay for me to go through the process here without involving the claims company who did not succeed with the initial claim? Thanks

Whilst you don't get to complain again about the missale, you can put in a Plevin complaint.

Yes. Their service is deemed over 6 months after the rejection.
