RM post office counter label came off in transit 8th Mar 18 at 1:08 PM
Not sure if anyone else had this before. I certainly not until now!
I got a unhappy buyer ebay message stating. They had to go to the post office and pay money for their parcel.
I thought this was sent via post office counters (got proof of posting), so could not be an issue with weight. Turns out there was no marked postage on the item at all, the other delivery end. So RM withheld it for payment.
I refunded the buyer the money and just about got away with decent feedback, as took RM 10 days to card the delivery address. The buyer showed me photos of everything.
Has anyone else had this issue. I was wondering if RM have changed their printed sticker supplier and the glue is not strong enough?

If you have your proof of posting and the photos from the buyer, you will be able to claim for the payment the buyer had to make.

it happened once to me, a stamp apparently came off and the buyers local post office held the parcel for ransom

I have not experienced issues with the adhesive, but I'm always careful about the application. If I'm applying the label myself, I will apply pressure all around with my fingernail.

When my local Post Office staff do it, they often don't affix the label(s) firmly enough (a single finger tap on the label). I point it out to them quite regularly.

The Signed for and Special Delivery labels have a relatively small surface area of adhesive so it's especially important to stick these down properly.
