Aqua opened account on credit file 6th Mar 18 at 6:16 PM
    Hi,
I had an alert and a new account has been opened by Aqua on my credit file. Concerned as when I applied it came up there has been a problem with your application and we will write to you to explain. This was last Saturday and I had the alert this Monday over a week later and still no letter to explain. Does anyone know why they would open an account on my file?

They performed the credit check on Monday and you've been accepted.

It's not uncommon for PINs and cards to take more than a week to arrive.

If it has been opened then it looks like it has been approved and notification will follow. If you read other threads sometimes things like an address mismatch in the CRA can stop automatic processing, and this may be the case.
