    Just tried to buy some....only 1.95% showing.

    Goes to show there's a whack of cash out there waiting to be invested if this is oversubscribed @ 2.2%. Soon as we get a product circa 2.2% for 1 year then there'll be a significant flow into it - - in my opinion.

    I think it's effective from now, as the previous issue 56 Guaranteed Growth Bonds with the 2.2% have been replaced on the NS&I website with the new issue 57 at 1.95%.

    In the article we also could see: Investment Guaranteed Growth Bonds - a separate product sold online - will continue to be on sale until 10 April. They also pay 2.2%.

    So I wonder what this is.

    Meh... just received an email about this. I'd been planning to move some funds into these this month due to the Tesco DD situation forcing me out of some of my current accounts. I'll have to look elsewhere for this money I guess.

    And there was me thinking the rate on these bonds might actually improve before I got to them.
