URGENT: UKPC & SCS Law 1st Mar 18 at 3:48 PM
    URGENT Advise Required Please

i am new to this thread and was advised to post a thread

Received a parking fine from UKPC for overstaying over the 3 hours free permitted time limit and now after 2 years i have a letter from SCS Law demanding the fine.

Please not: the keepr did not receive any correspondence until this letter received from SCS as wasn't aware the driver overstayed and got this now..so not have not appealed or anything like that as no opprtunity was given to me

They have given me 30 days to reply otherwise they will issue court proceedings and i have only a few days left so the keeper can reply back either to pay fine, dispute or pay part

what do i do ? on what grounds can i dispute this if i can??

Any help and advice would be grateful..so i can send this letter before the deadline and gives me breathing space

There is plenty of guidance on creating a Defence in post #2 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread.

Pick relevant bits out of the many Defences linked from there.

But of course the first step after receiving the Claim Form is to do the Acknowledgement of Service. How to do that is also in the above mentioned post.

Crikey, we're already over 120 posts on this thread and that's all just dealing with a Letter Before Claim - and still we have URGENT in the thread title.

Acknowledgement of service has been received dated 26/06/18

I cannot seem to be able to open the drop box link on The Newbies Thread #2 on my computer here

Please can you advise me on what and how to fill in the acknowledgement of service please urgently

1: I intend to defend all of the claim
2: I intend to defend part of the claim
3: I intend to contest jurisdiction

i obviously want to defend all of the claim and need to file my defence..i have been looking at the cases and cannot get my head around which would fit in with my scenario here

    What grounds can i defend?

    ANPR
    Poor Signage
DPA Breach (From Parking Prankster post..it states 250 is awarded for each breach?)

Any links and advice would be extremely helpful please

Have you received a Claim Form from the Northampton County Court Business Centre yet?

If so, what is the Date of Issue?

You need to be able to access the information provided.
Other that typing it all out again, I'm not sure how you expect anyone to help you with that.

Do the AOS when on another computer at the weekend. Loads of time.

Then work on your defence, as per the sticky thread and all the zillions of others just like yours.

Whilst of course I'm not speaking on behalf of Coupon-mad, can I respectfully suggest that the main points you need to consider for your Defence are all listed in post #2 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread.

Just search the forum! Just put two/three keywords in (UKPC SCS defence) and search this forum.

Change the default to SHOW POSTS. Never leave it to show threads or you will be there forever!

And use the NEWBIES thread and find newer ones linked there too.

Do the Aos online via MCOL as described in the aforementioned dropbox link.

Try searching the forum for UKPC overstay defence, and change the search to SHOW POSTS.

Time to start the defence was 2 weeks ago...
Id say this is getting more URGENT because youre not devoting time early enough.
