    #Make Upto 10 a Day March 2018 # 27th Feb 18 at 10:16 PM
    Hello and welcome everybody

This is the 127th month of this challenge, which was first started by Batgirl, in September 2007. A link here to the original thread as I am sure some of you are interested to read where it all began.

Thanks to Batgirl for starting it, lynnejk and ALL posters, for helping us to keep the thread going. Thanks to previous challengers who used to run this thread too, Rawdinosaur, Emmaglet, Nat21luv, Monkeynut, Sweetpeas, Purpleroses, JesaRose, MizMir.

I have decided to rename this challenge as reading posts, it seems to put people off thinking they HAVE TO make 10 a day.

    You don't.

The original purpose of this challenge was to help people to try and make an extra 10 a day on top of their normal income to help things along. Ie paying off debt, making savings, paying for holidays, overpaying mortgages etc.

That is exactly what this challenge is about, attempting to make extra income on top of your normal income to help you wherever you need it.

People start the challenge by setting a goal of 1 a day. Then when they find they are smashing this regularly, they up it to 5 a day. Some of us gluttons for punishment go for 10 a day. It really is entirely upto you. We only ask you to post what your goal is to help you keep motivated. Some days you make more and some days you make less, but aim for extra at the end of the month.

The idea is that everyone posts how they are making extra money and these shared ideas help all of us to learn new ways to help cut debt or earn/save money.

    What cannot be added:
    Wages from your main job

    What can be added:
    Overtime
    Income from a second job
    Daily clicks
    Interest
    Vouchers
    Mystery shopping
    And much, much more.

This board moves pretty quickly, so be sure to subscribe and read it regularly.

    Link to previous thread.

So who wants to kick 2018 into a financially working for you year?

Join this challenge and let's make those bank accounts fat, mortgages paid off, holidays paid off, savings account grow fatter, debts paid off and much much more!!!

Sorry all, been AWOL and going to have to take a break for an indeterminate time as I am exhausted.

Baby doesn't let me sleep enough and after a year it is taking its toll to the point where I am no longer just tired, but have chronic sleep deprivation. Before anyone thinks that I have a baby and so yes I would be tired, it is much more than that.

I have been in bed the whole weekend feeling so weak that I can't do anything, when I get up I feel dizzy and light headed, I am constantly too hot or cold as I can't regulate my own temperature any more, have a thumping headache, can't focus properly with my eyes. After 36 hours of sleep I only feel slightly better, so going to have to rest as much as I can.

Trying not to think how I will cope when I go back to work full time next month. Hopefully I'll feel better soon and will come back to the thread. Good luck to everyone else.

Have you seen your GP? Sorry to be nosy but your symptoms sound much more than sleep deprivation. A close friend once had similar symptoms and when she was eventually bullied into seeing a GP (she kept saying she knew what was wrong and didn't want to waste the doctor's time) she was told she had Vitamin B12 deficiency. She had to have regular injections and is as right as rain again now. Just a thought

I'm also very concerned that you are contemplating returning to full time work when you are feeling so ill. The added workload and stress when you are already exhausted can only be a very bad move.

    Take care xxx

Well done to all the money makers and hugs to those who are struggling. Sorry not been about much this month. Have been checking the thread and keeping a tally of my earnings but still got loads of stuff going on. Hopefully things will even out soon.

You did remind me though that I am sustaining both myself and a hungry growing boy so I really should be taking some more vitamins... will be picking myself up some ASAP.

Technically I am already full time, but I am using up my holiday so actually only working 3 days a week. Going to negotiate as much working from home as I can and take it day by day. I don't want to go part time as we can't really afford it, but if I have to I guess we could just about manage, although not sure looking after a very active 13 month old all day would be less tiring..

Will pop back in if I have more news.

QueenJess hope you feel better soon. Definitely think it's a good idea to go see the GP just in case. I have an almost two year old who still doesn't sleep through the night, yes babies make you tired, but like you say it sounds like it is more than that. Is your OH chipping in and looking after the baby as much as he can? This might also be something to think about.

I work 3 days a week and call them my 'rest days', definitely find the 4 days a week I look after my wee one about 5x more hard work .

Evening all. Hectic day for me today, but a successful one at that. 197.88 to add to my total
matched betting today. Aesop, so sorry again for not seeing your message until now!

Jess, hope you start feeling better soon. Echo the comments above re: vitamins, and just make sure you get as much rest as you possibly can. I know that's difficult with a baby/toddler.

Evening all. We're a busy bunch aren't we! Hope everybody has had a good week.

I'm off tomorrow. I had a day's holiday left to take before April, so a long weekend to look forward to, and a chance to spend a bit extra time with my daughter. She's been desperate for me to take her to Nursery for quite some time now.

    123.76 for me today.

Sorry I haven't been around much lately to contribute to the thread.

It was my brother's funeral on Wednesday at the other end of the country to me. Now I'm home and real life will hopefully get back to a bit of normalcy (if anything about my life could ever be considered normal). I really must start to make some money as what with transport, accommodation and essentials for the funeral it's been a very spendy month so far.

Hi all - just popping back in again. I went to the GP, but turns out I had a nasty virus and now got the cold, cough bit. Nothing wrong with me despite getting virus after virus.. just very run down and so been ill for about 7 weeks+. They wanted to offer me a spray as my throat was red raw, but they realised I couldn't have anything as it isn't suitable for feeding mothers. They prescribed ice cream instead

Tried looking for multivitamins, but they all say unsuitable for feeding mothers.. very silly... basically if you are feeding you should suffer (or that's what it feels like). No chance of any sleep this week as teethy baby is struggling with his top teeth and is off nursery with suspected chicken pox.

Putting off dealing with life at the moment. Just thinking about the next hour or two and getting better, Hope everyone is having a fruitful money making month.
