    #Make Upto 10 a Day March 2018 # 27th Feb 18 at 10:16 PM
    Hello and welcome everybody

This is the 127th month of this challenge, which was first started by Batgirl, in September 2007. A link here to the original thread as I am sure some of you are interested to read where it all began.

Thanks to Batgirl for starting it, lynnejk and ALL posters, for helping us to keep the thread going. Thanks to previous challengers who used to run this thread too, Rawdinosaur, Emmaglet, Nat21luv, Monkeynut, Sweetpeas, Purpleroses, JesaRose, MizMir.

I have decided to rename this challenge as reading posts, it seems to put people off thinking they HAVE TO make 10 a day.

    You don't.

The original purpose of this challenge was to help people to try and make an extra 10 a day on top of their normal income to help things along. Ie paying off debt, making savings, paying for holidays, overpaying mortgages etc.

That is exactly what this challenge is about, attempting to make extra income on top of your normal income to help you wherever you need it.

People start the challenge by setting a goal of 1 a day. Then when they find they are smashing this regularly, they up it to 5 a day. Some of us gluttons for punishment go for 10 a day. It really is entirely upto you. We only ask you to post what your goal is to help you keep motivated. Some days you make more and some days you make less, but aim for extra at the end of the month.

The idea is that everyone posts how they are making extra money and these shared ideas help all of us to learn new ways to help cut debt or earn/save money.

    What cannot be added:
    Wages from your main job

    What can be added:
    Overtime
    Income from a second job
    Daily clicks
    Interest
    Vouchers
    Mystery shopping
    And much, much more.

This board moves pretty quickly, so be sure to subscribe and read it regularly.

    Link to previous thread.

So who wants to kick 2018 into a financially working for you year?

Join this challenge and let's make those bank accounts fat, mortgages paid off, holidays paid off, savings account grow fatter, debts paid off and much much more!!!

Thanks for the welcomes and a cheery wave in return

So how does this work then , I'm getting more confused the more I read - how do we get those tally scores for our targets and amounts achieved on our posts and do we all report in each day/week somewhere or just post as and when we feel like it ?
Apologies if it all seems so very obvious to you all but ...

    Thanks in advance

p.s. re the allocated random avatar, can it be changed ?

In settings, you can add a signature to your profile.

    Totally upto you.

I am trying to make a concentrated effort to post daily as site has gone very quiet lately.

I'm hoping to drag people back by bumping this thread to the top.

It's an individual choice. People find by posting daily it's keeps them motivated and spurred onto make money.

Others pop in when they have time and post. We like to try and do a final rally at the end of the month to see the amazing amounts earnt.

Evening all. Hope you've all had a lovely weekend. The snow has gone, finally! At least up in Cumbria anyway. It was nice, and a bit of a novelty on Wednesday...honestly don't think we've had it this bad for 20+ years, but I'll be honest, I'm glad to see the back of it now.

So my wife went to Matalan this afternoon to buy 2 things...and came back with a bag full. 7 items, and a cost of nearly 50. Her money mind, so her problem. A timely email this evening from Consumer Pulse to enter these purchases, and an extra 5,000 points to add to the total. Think I'm up to about 30's worth of points on there now.

74.21 today from matched betting, and a few free slot offers. Hope everybody has a good week to come

I uploaded some barcodes the other day, enough for a 'trade' but haven't sent the books off yet as couldn't find a suitable box before OH went out to post my eBay parcels for me earlier. I wonder if I can abort it and resubmit the codes to take advantage of the 15% extra offer

I've still got loads of books to get rid of and although they'd sell for a lot more on Amazon (eventually) I can't be bothered waiting any longer. Some have been listed on there for about a year. I keep an eye on the prices and reduce mine regularly to be really competitive but they're obviously not very 'in demand' titles. Having said that I did sell a book on Amazon yesterday but I only listed it about 24 hours previously and it was a bang up to date title anyway. I don't have all that much success with books on eBay

OH posted my eBay parcels for me. I made 14.60 profit. I offer free postage for light, easy to post items as I recently rediscovered a stash of ungummed 2nd class stamps that I bought years ago on eBay. They were destined for postcards for entering competitions which was the main entry route back in the day before smartphones and social media were so popular. You can tell from that how long I've had these stamps. I'd totally forgotten about them and unearthed them during sorting/decluttering. They're still valid though and will save me a mint on posting eBay parcels

Not sure whether I need to deduct the postage cost from my profit. These stamps were bought so many years ago I've no idea what they cost.
