    Is it possible to have broadband without being tied into a contract ?.I am a short term tenant and do not want to shackled to a fixed term.

    there are one or 2 companies I believe that do it.

    Or what about a 4G MiFi dongle ? You could pick that up and take it with you. (EE is doing it now from 35/month for 50Gb)
