Calculator Possible Early Redemption and Re-mort? 12th Feb 18 at 9:49 PM
Hello we have a fixed rate mortgage which only allows 10% extra repayment on top. We have some savings now which means I would like to work out if we are better off redeeming our mortgage early and paying the early redemption penalty and then re-mortgaging for a lower amount of money? The calculator on this site doesn't seem to allow for the new mortgage for a lower amount. Can you point me to any calculators that may help please?

    How much is the penalty

How much can you pay off

How long is my little finger

    The choice is yours!

With mortgage interest rates low, is it worth it!
