It's not very busy but there is a Small Biz forum where you may get a better answer
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=27

Some of it depends on the nature of your business. Whether you need cash deposits, or cheque deposits, or many people access the account. Some banks look at what sector you are in. How much you keep in the account. How often you transact. Whether you have a new business (many free startup offers). How much you care about the quality (or existence) of online banking, if you want a branch, a personal banker, would be comfortable with app only. Whether you need integration with accounting software. And so on.
I have very small numbers of transactions (<10 transfers in and <10 transfers out each month) so I use Tide for my main business banking, which I am very happy with. Your needs are probably quite different, so analyse on the above info against your needs.

How much does HSBC charge ongoing?

I'm with RBS, 2 years free thanks to the outfit my accountant used to set up my company, it's only 5 quid a month for my 1 in + no more than 1 out transaction per month thereafter.

Doubt I'd be bothered to move when the cost is that low - and I'm a stingy jock
