In your housing benefit claim have you been allowed a bedroom for your
    son?

Because if he lived with you before he went to university and all his possessions are there, he is not claiming HB at his university and will make regular visits during the year then you should be allowed a bedroom for him in your claim.

If every person that claims housing benefit rang their local council everytime they had a visitor it would be ridiculous. My daughter used to visit me and stay for weeks when she left for uni. Did i ring my local council everytime.....no. We are allowed to have visitors.
