    Royal Academy of Music graduate SuRie will represent the UK at Eurovision 2018 with her track Storm.
    SuRie - real name Susanna - was announced as the winner of Eurovision You Decide after a live ceremony in Brighton, broadcast on BBC Two.

    Yes, ESC is very popular in Europe not to mention Australia.

    I have just listened to our entry and surprised myself by really liking it, I think it’s the best song we’ve had for years.

    My OH has a theory that the contest should be split into 2 separate ones, Western and Eastern Europe.

    Agree about the contest split
    I don't really bother with it now, but will listen to the UK entry later (thanks Sam).

    They've said on Bbc Breakfast, that the girl has been in the competition twice before, but as a backing singer.

    I'm sure I will hear it on the radio at some point.
    Eurovision is always a great night... loads of beer, excuse to listen to some crap music and take the !!!! out of it all night.... whats not to like.
    Especially if you do it all in fancy dress.

    Just heard the song. It's ok but it doesn't exactly stand out does it.
    Why do we always seem to pick average songs, can't we get something punchy.
