Parking Eye Northants CC letter 7th Feb 18 at 7:19 PM
    Hi everybody!
My friend bought a 'pay and display' ticket, which she still has, but a few days later received demands for loads of money for 'non payment' for parking which she ignored... and now she has a Northants County Court Letter from ParkingEye. Her parking ticket has her reg no. on and the date and time to prove her defence.
I have told her to Acknowledge the Service to the Court and not to fill in the Defence box......and then to ask on here where/what should her defence be, baring in mind that her parking ticket seems to be irrefutable, doesn't it ? She is worried sick!

please tell her to read the advice in the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread at the top of this forum

she does the AOS online, then starts to draft her defence based on similar recent defences on here by other members in a similar position

the post the draft on here for critique

no need for her to be worried, if she loses in court, she should pay the judgment IN FULL, within 1 month

no prison, no electric chair, just pay in full , promptly (usually about 175 or less)

if she wins , she can claim costs of up to 95
    Newbies !!
Private Parking ticket? check the 2 sticky threads by coupon-mad and crabman in the Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking Board forum for the latest advice or maybe try pepipoo or C.A.G. or legal beagles forums if you need legal advice as well because this parking forum is not about debt collectors or legal matters per se

Tell her to also complain to her MP, because this is ridiculous harassment.
PRIVATE PCN? DON'T PAY BUT DO NOT IGNORE IT TWO Clicks needed for advice:
Top of the page: Home>>Forums>Household & Travel>Motoring>Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking - read the 'NEWBIES' FAQS thread!
Advice to ignore is WRONG, unless in Scotland/NI.
