Appeal against Council Tax bandingi 7th Feb 18 at 5:45 PM
Appeal against Council Tax Bandings..In 2017 Martin Lewis reported that the Government were writing to all Councils suggesting that they ignore the 6 months time limit on appealing against incorrect bandings....having just recently lost such an appeal for being 10 months late in appealing I ask the current situation...if known.

I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a self employed Council Tax specialist. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.

It just shows how much the government knows about local government finance when it approaches councils instead of the VOA, an agency of HMRC!!
