Debt busting misssion .. 7th Feb 18 at 1:42 PM
    Hi guys
So I have been trying to make a decent dint in my debts for a little while but I really need to knuckle down and make those dints a whacking big hole
So I have some cc debt a loan and my mortgage, I'm focusing on the cc debt at the minute it's on a 0% offer but that ends in October I am hoping to move any balance to another 0%

It's me, my 2 teenage boys, and my OH (his lil boy does stay over 3 nights a week as well) .. they are all boyey boys and I do know 99% of the Star Wars characters and am up on my computer and guitar jargon lol. I do have a little girl though .. my four legged little doggy Molly (she's the most muddiest, unladylike pooch but she does add to the female numbers in the house !

The boys are both 15 and are just starting to ask for rediculously priced clothes and shoes but luckily my dad runs carboot sales and my mam does pick up loads on there for them .. I will post some of her mega deals .. the bootsale starts up again on Sunday meaning that hopefully we will have a bag of swag on Sunday night .. yay !

My boys both leave school next year and are very bright boys ... one is wanting to study military law and the other engineering and computer science. This is part of the reason why I really need to bust this debt, I am hoping that by the time uni comes up I will be in a much better fininacal position to help them as much as possible.

I work 2 jobs and as many extra shifts as possible, I also eBay anything my mam picks up for me from the boot sales (can't believe some of the things people sell ) meaning some months I will have more Income than others but at the minute I am saving what I can to bust these debts.

That's a sort of basics of our crazy Brady house ... I am really hoping that doing a DFW diary will help keep me on track ...

Good luck on the eBay sales, I really need to do it, but I find it so tedious to do. I've got a lot of clothes that could be listed though!

Fantastic sunny morning today .... washing on the line and second load in yay ! Hopefully save a bit of electric as it's been whizzing up lately

Just checked PayPal and made a payment of 130 from my eBay sales last night I still have about 50 worth to be paid for and a couple of things finishing tonight so fingers crossed

I am chuffed to bits with my payments this week and I think I'm going to venture into the loft to see what I have to list lol

Apart from postage costs which I don't include today should be a NSD
I think I'm going to go through the freezer and cupboards and plan next weeks meals using some of the us stuff I picked up last night .. I have 23 cash in my purse and gonna see if I can get away with just spending this

Have a fab day everyone out there ...

So I have had a think and I'm going to try to get another 40 this weekend instead of the 90 ... I think it's a bit more realistic and it means I'll still drop to the 18s for total debt

So another 50 busted today from last nights payments .. whoop !

Next week is a slow eBay week but I'm planning on having a rumuge to see what I can list for the week after

That 50 now takes me to a total of 860 paid off cc and 200 mortgage op since my light bulb moment Easter weekend ... my debt is now under the 19s ... I am sooo chuffed I almost forgot to update sig lol

Hope you are all having a great weekend, my guys are at their dads and I'm all alone and just finished J2 shift this morning. I always say I'm gonna chill and have a day off but I get board so will probably end up rummaging for eBay stuff this afternoon lol ...

Well last night during dinner the boys reminded me that they had their big school trip in July
I was originally just going to pay as and when but nope I have now decided to list it as a debt and plug away at it ... their dads not very good so its me that has to pay although my mam and dad do offer to help but I feel bad taking anything from them .. they can more than afford it but still they earnt that money. I just wish I had listened to them a bit more as they are of the mindset no buying until you can afford TO PAY CASH
So my debt total has shot up a bit ..

While I was thinking I also decided to list any upcoming events -
    * Trip to download with kids .. (tickets paid for Christmas gifts but will need petrol food n stuff)
    * Balance of sons guitar .. it was his Christmas gift and bought in September but still hasn't arrived.
    * Cousins posh wedding .. we need to stay away for this but room is paid, I plan on getting a dress from the bootsale and making as cheap as possible whilst still holding that fake I can soo afford this lol.
    * I also have the cars MOT coming up in a couple of months and I need it for Job#2 .. I do have a bit put to one side for this but I have decided to start an emergency savings just in case of problems .. again I know my parents would help but id rather not.

... yes I have been listening to Dave Ramsey .. OML he can be brutal but is sooo right lol

so this lot adds an extra 2000 to the debt and I was hoping to build another 3000 savings ...

not sure wether to keep ploughing savings onto the card then if and when things come up pay it on card or not .... I know Dave has said not to do this ... what do you guys think ?

    Thanks
