Unfair parking charge - Appeal Rejected

Unfair parking charge - Appeal Rejected 6th Feb 18 at 9:35 PM
Do people think I can ignore this NPS parking charge notice for 100 that was rejected on appeal? Basically in December I parked in a carpark in Jesmond not realising that you had to put your reg into the parking meter before buying a ticket, (I'm a wedding photographer and was rushing to beat the wedding car) eventually after 45 mins when someone told me I returned (After the ceremony) and put on all day ticket on. I was given a 100 penalty by the CCTV camera hence I appealed showing them my ticket to prove I had one but they've rejected it because I didn't get a ticket in within 10 mins of entering the carpark even though the cost is exactly the same for all day whether I'd gotten it straight away or 45 mins later. What shall I do? they are now demanding 100.

I can't find them that relate to anything to do with my case. My initial appeal was rejected and I can't find anything relevant in the place you keep sending me, I'd love to use a template but can't find anything....

POPLA look at the legal points. If you are really stuck just cut and paste one of the templates. That stands a good chance of winning at POPLA.

    Just cut and paste.

Post #3 of the sticky has the points you need. Most people put them together in about 15 minutes.

Then I can only guess you are not reading the right thread.

Just an update to let everyone know that Britannia did not contest the appeal and therefore I don't need to pay the fine. Brilliant result and thanks so much to everyone who gave advice...

I could not have done this without all of the information and help on this site!! THANKYOU

Ritchie, you seem to be reading posts from 2013 and 2015.

Do not use anything earlier than say 2017.
There is plenty of recent stuff around.

Cheers I was hoping to find a simple template that I could paste in one piece and adjust. I've been looking on here and other sites for ages and don't seem to be getting anywhere. More clever comments than helpful really thanks to those that have tried to help...

Right so what's wrong with copying a POPLA appeal someone wrote before?

I just showed you one, and in 'POPLA Decisions' (another sticky thread) there are loads more linked where people reported their successes and linked back to their threads.

Read a few, find one that's relevant - i.e. you say the PCN was issued by post as the car was caught by camera, so any ANPR one would do, and you could then show us your draft and we'd help fine tune it.

For the sake of completeness the first link in post 3 of the Newbies thread takes you to this POPLA appeal
