    Do any of you have any suggestions about ways I can get said items cheaper than the following...

    Lean-To pergola 190
    Gate 60
    (From Screwfix, no del fee

    Decking 3m x 4.2m kit 389
    (From Decking Supplies incl 50 del)

    Hire a van and collect the decking or find somewhere closer that will match the price.

    Most smaller places will haggle.
    Punctuation, Spelling and Grammar will be used sparingly. Due to rising costs of inflation.

    My contribution to MSE. Other contributions will only be used if they cost me nothing.

    Ready made gates are flimsy rubbish. Spend 30 on wood and hardware and make it yourself. Ditto the pergola...that's a lot of money for a pile of cut wood.

    Some are some arent I have two ready made gates and there great made by Grange a lot of places sell there stuff. I painted it oak and looks really nice the other one cedar red

    I got mine cheaper than above.

    I try a local sawmill often they buy treated timber in and sell below many of the diy sheds. I often by wood this way for my garden and allotment
