    ~Make upto 10 a day February 2018~ 31st Jan 18 at 9:54 PM
    Hello and welcome everybody

This is the 126th month of this challenge, which was first started by Batgirl, in September 2007. A link here to the original thread as I am sure some of you are interested to read where it all began.

Thanks to Batgirl for starting it, lynnejk and ALL posters, for helping us to keep the thread going. Thanks to previous challengers who used to run this thread too, Rawdinosaur, Emmaglet, Nat21luv, Monkeynut, Sweetpeas, Purpleroses, JesaRose, MizMir.

I have decided to rename this challenge as reading posts, it seems to put people off thinking they HAVE TO make 10 a day.

    You don't.

The original purpose of this challenge was to help people to try and make an extra 10 a day on top of their normal income to help things along. Ie paying off debt, making savings, paying for holidays, overpaying mortgages etc.

That is exactly what this challenge is about, attempting to make extra income on top of your normal income to help you wherever you need it.

People start the challenge by setting a goal of 1 a day. Then when they find they are smashing this regularly, they up it to 5 a day. Some of us gluttons for punishment go for 10 a day. It really is entirely upto you. We only ask you to post what your goal is to help you keep motivated. Some days you make more and some days you make less, but aim for extra at the end of the month.

The idea is that everyone posts how they are making extra money and these shared ideas help all of us to learn new ways to help cut debt or earn/save money.

    What cannot be added:
    Wages from your main job

    What can be added:
    Overtime
    Income from a second job
    Daily clicks
    Interest
    Vouchers
    Mystery shopping
    And much, much more.

This board moves pretty quickly, so be sure to subscribe and read it regularly.

    Link to previous thread.

So who wants to kick 2018 into a financially working for you year?

Join this challenge and let's make those bank accounts fat, mortgages paid off, holidays paid off, savings account grow fatter, debts paid off and much much more!!!

Just submitted my swago board. The bugs Aesop mentioned seem to be fixed now.

I've had another rotten day today- more bad news completely unrelated to the other things going on. Left work early and DD and I went shopping for comfort food. Feeling slightly better now but got tough times ahead I think.

Used 13 clubcard vouchers in Tesco. I know Martin always says you should use them for rewards as they're worth more but I haven't seen anything I wanted to spend them on. These were just the most recent ones and I still have quite a lot that I could use for a meal or a day out before they reduce them from 4x to 3x the value.

Also got 10 free spins which I managed to win 20 with so total is now 33.91

yes of course ebay is going to tell you, you will make less money via collection only. You know why? because they and paypal get no extra money for collection only.... they make money on postage fees....

Good luck and let us know how you get on.

Depending on where you live there might be a lot of watchers and potential buyers who don't mind the journey to collect things but you can't depend on it. People are basically lazy and like to click on an item and have it brought right to their door

I wouldn't consider listing 'collect only'but plenty of other people probably find it works for them. In the past before I'd learned that 'collect only' was no use to me, I've had buyers turning up and refusing to pay the agreed price because it had taken them so long to get here and they'd used so much petrol. They demanded a discount

Pa those of you who remember my washing machine breaking last year and me having the fit engineer out? Well he missed a bit. The front brick was cracked. So guess what? Washing machine was making a racket like it was taking off.... No washing machine until Fri as they have to come back to replace part.

Hey all, not much to report, just 10p from citizen me today. I feel like everything's getting on top of me, so having a mini break from money making for a couple of days.

Tomorrow's my birthday and since I can't remember the last time I spent any money on myself, I am planning to take myself for a haircut, a nice lunch and to get some much needed clothes.

Managed to spend today listing on eBay again. One live bid already so fingers crossed!

So my earnings over the last two days are not so impressive however I did manage:

    11.25 clubs refund at school
    40 cash sales
0.50 quidco game and I won an entry in a 3k prize draw? Not sure how I get the 50p though.

    Update Feb 7th + 51.25 = 535.55 / 560

Back to ebaying tonight. A spring cleaner on a de clutter and reduce debt mission!

    Good luck everyone

Congratulations to all the moneymakers and hugs to those who could do with them at the moment

Received the cheque for the real life auction I entered some lots into in January. Didn't expect to be paid so fast. Need to sort out what I owe to OH as I'd forced persuaded him to let me sell some of his hoarded items alongside mine. He was very pleasantly surprised at how much they made and is in the mood to do it again. One day this house/sheds/garage will be clutter free

I sent off a lot of books to Ziffit and WBB today. Miraculously they wanted them, I've not had much luck before. Fingers crossed that they'll accept them all, can't see any reason why they shouldn't.

Will add all this lot to my total when money is actually in my bank account. February is turning out better than I expected

I hope everyone is managing to keep warm

Cancelled my phone contract in Nov but they kept taking the DD. Made a complaint and they told me they had no record of me requesting to cancel Thankfully I had done it via live chat and kept a copy of the transcript. Another strongly worded complaint submitted and they are refunding 12.81 plus 30 'goodwill gesture'. Just checked bank account and it pending to go in tomorrow.
