Mummytogirls - taking the scenic route 29th Jan 18 at 8:49 PM
    Evening Diary,

Well there seems to be so many diaries being deleted at the moment I have decided to start a new one to try and preserve my history on here.

My first diary can be found here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=2311479&page=265

So I started in March 2010 and it hasn't always been an easy route but weve managed to pay off quite a bit of our debt and we stand at £6069.37 today. We probably could have paid the debt off my now but we are enjoying our life (taking the scenic route) with our two girls (now aged 11 and 9). They are growing up too fast before my eyes, wish time would slow down a bit.

So feel free to join my ramblings... usually about my MSE ways, what I eat and the all important pegging out in the summer .

    Evening Diary,

Just having a catch up on here whilst first dates is on!

So Sunday I ended up being quite unwell with an upset stomach. I think I have an allergy to some kind of spice as I've had this reaction before after spicy food and its horrendous. I haven't been to the gym this week as my stomach doesnt feel up to it! I actually think I could be mistaken for pregnant I look that swollen! Im hoping it goes down a bit tomorrow.
I also started with a cold last night , feel ok at the moment though just annoyed with my nose!

With me being here instead of the gym I've managed to keep on top of the house which feels good.

Also I've had 2 NSD's in a row which is a miracle in itself! Must get back to tracking those from October.

Think thats it really, hope all ok xx

    Evening Diary,

Happy Wednesday evening! I think I like Wednesday nights the best (apart from Friday that is!) as I have no gym, I'm home nice and early to get sorted and chill earlier than other nights .

Well I broke my run of NSD's today as I needed to pop to the farmshop after work. Spent £18 on milk, pastys, mince, samosas for the kids tea as they like them, buttermilk, chilli burgers for DH's lunches and chocolate flapjack .

Feeling really good about my budgets at the moment as they seem just right. With DD1 having school lunches we seem to have more food in the fridge by this point in the week too.

Bogged down at work but whats new! Im not at tipping point just yet so feeling ok about work.

    Hope all ok xx

    Morning Day,

Saturday morning... love Saturdays! Anyway that was the quickest week ever!! Was so tired last night I fell asleep somewhere between 8.30-9pm! Slept through until 8.30am and still feel tired. Will keep an eye on it as when this happens its usually my thyroid playing up but just hoping its just the end of a busy week tiredness.

Nothing too much to report in terms of money, been quite good at not spending any this week . Did spent £54 in Mr Al's yesterday on the weeks shop but then realised id forgot some ingredients for Monday nights tea. Cant even improvise as its the whole meal other than the chicken . Will see if I can make something else instead, if not il have to go tomorrow.

DD2 has been feeling sick this morning but is now having a slice of toast so fingers crossed its nothing. DD1 is full of cold but has gone off to football. I think she will be glad of a lazy day tomorrow.

Weather been rubbish here since Thursday so having to use the TD. Will have about 3 loads today , then theres the ironing to go with it. I told DH I'm going to have to be in the garage ready for when the TD finishes so I can fold the stuff straight up and try and save myself some work .

Thank you Beanie, HHOD and PLMBL .

Right think thats about all from me. Happy Saturday all xx

I hope you feel less tired soon MTG and it's not your thyroid. We've been lucky with the weather here so far but I'm sure our turn for rain will come soon.

    Afternoon Diary,

Hope all ok, Sunday afternoon already.

So yesterday was a NSD, unsure on what numbers but will start tracking again in October.
DD's both turned out to feel ok yesterday so thats good.

This morning I've cleaned my kitchen, found that making bicarb into a paste with water is good for getting marks off of stainless steel and leaving them gleaming. Wondering if this works on the oven too, might have to try it sometime.

Went out to £land and spent £12 on various bits and bats in there, some of I didn't need but topped the kids snacks up. £3 in home bargains on other bits and then £11 in Mr Al's on the ingredients I had forgotten and DDs food tech ingredients.

I have a joint of beef in the slow cooker so will have that tea with all the trimmings. Also defrosting some blackberries to make a crumble for pudding.

Just a little bit of ironing to do and then I'm all caught up for the week with that.

Forgot to mention that I've sold DD2s old bike to a neighbour. Put in on fbk and she messaged me within about 2 minutes. Told her to give me £20 for it, better than it being sat in the garage gathering dust.
Also received a cheque in the post for the last lot of DD2s swimming lessons she hardly attended due to ear infections. That was also £47 not expected to receive and I've even managed to bank it through the app. Will keep this money to one side towards them a winter coat each.

Think thats about all, happy Sunday all xx

    Evening Diary,

Sat down just after 6pm... amazing! DH asked if I wanted to go out for a walk but I declined so I will be late home tomorrow after training. Need some peace and rest!

Have had 2 NSD in a row , love a NSD!

Weather still not good here but the positive is that I've been catching the washing as its coming out of the dryer and saving on most of the ironing .

Got my payslip online today and its £9 more than expected. 8 days to go!!!!

    Thats about all really xx
