Unbelievably my very long running diary of 5 years seems to have been deleted Not happy about this to say the least

Not sure what to do about it. Need my diary to keep me sane and on track.

Had to swiftly come up with a new title, had been meaning to start a new diary but not this way.

Anyway, in brief for those who don't know, my life changed drastically 5 years ago when my OH got Lymphoma in his brain, nearly lost his life but miraculously survived, although he has permanent brain damage and is disabled. So we lost his wage and I'm now the sole breadwinner. At its highest debt was around £5k but paid off thankfully.

I try to keep as normal a life as I can.

Still really angry my old diary has gone

Nearly as old as us Beanie

In other news I have to go to an early morning meeting in London the week after next which involves me having to catch the 5.30am train Trying not to think about it at the moment and haven't told Mr SA yet, not that it will affect him as I'll be home well before his dinner time and he'll be asleep when I leave the house. The things I do for work!

HHOD - it would've been my mum's birthday tomorrow too. DD wasn't due until 31 January so it was a real bonus for my mum to have what she said was her best birthday present ever.

I'm in work at 5.00am three days a week. The good bit is that I finish at 11.00am. These cold mornings are hard but as soon as the alarm goes off, I'm straight up so O/H doesn't wake up. Surprisingly it's easier in the summer.

I also looked at my official retirement date and like you it's depressing. Think I'm going to try your plan D.xx

    Happy Saturday

Can't believe that despite all the exercise, AFDs and tracking all week I put a pound on at WW Not downhearted though and have a plan. Usually I don't count at the weekend then cut back during the week, then hope my weeklies and rollovers during the week make up for the weekend. I've decided to track every day to see if this is so. I've tracked everything today and will be minus 5 points at the end of today Have used all my dailies, weeklies and am in deficit with my rollovers. This is mainly down to the pizza we're having tonight - 17 points for half a pizza It's just not worth it and I won't be having it again, it's nice but not that nice. Personally I'd rather have a home made curry which would be low in points but this is the only meal Mr SA and I share, we usually have different meals the rest of the week. OMG

Can't believe every bloomin' time I cut the wine out in the week I put weight on. What's all that about?

Anyway that aside, the weather has been mild here today but very gloomy. I've been out twice with the dog on the park, it was like a mud bath after the overnight rain.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

I agree with Buffy on the wine!

Belated birthday wishes to your DD - mine is 45! this confuses me immensely as I still think I'm only 40! (Or 10 sometimes!)

Sorry to hear about the extra tagged onto your retirement date SA - I'm terrified that my State Pension age will get pushed back further in the next two years which is when I want to finish work.

Hope Mr SA has got over his man flu!

I was a lb on too this morning. Itís what I deserved but Iím mad with myself.....maybe we should drown our sorrows in a wine
Hope they donít change the retirement age again unless they lower it but thereís zero chance of that happening.
