Unbelievably my very long running diary of 5 years seems to have been deleted Not happy about this to say the least

Not sure what to do about it. Need my diary to keep me sane and on track.

Had to swiftly come up with a new title, had been meaning to start a new diary but not this way.

Anyway, in brief for those who don't know, my life changed drastically 5 years ago when my OH got Lymphoma in his brain, nearly lost his life but miraculously survived, although he has permanent brain damage and is disabled. So we lost his wage and I'm now the sole breadwinner. At its highest debt was around £5k but paid off thankfully.

I try to keep as normal a life as I can.

Still really angry my old diary has gone

The gin sounded delicious SA. How nice to have such a great pub close by. I'm with you on the pub and kids - maybe I'm old -fashioned but pubs are for adults. Things can also kick off in pubs so why expose your children to that?

Oh dear about the pester list. Sometimes I think a good Xmas present for Mr SA would be trip round a shopping mall with a personal shopper! On the proviso he as to give everything back at the end of it!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend SA.

You’rehaving a run of rubbish luck. Hopefully the cooker will end your run. Have you got a day out planned before Christmas?

Another weekend whizzed past, blink and you miss it!

I haven't stopped all day today. Took the dog out this morning, took her back home then off I went to Aldi, was a good part of the way there when I realised I didn't have my purse with me Had to go back to fetch it, although should've left it behind as I somehow managed to spend £68 in there However got loads of stuff for Christmas plus a lovely warm mattress topper. I had to phone Mr SA to meet me on his scooter as I couldn't carry it back. Toying with buying a shopping trolley for my Aldi trips.

After lunch sorted out Mr SA's wardrobe and he discovered loads of clothes he'd forgotten about! I will admit he does need a few bits though but not as much as he thinks.

Then cleaned the oven, taking advantage of it being out of action. The racks had been soaking overnight in a bag with oven cleaner.

Then cleaned the whole house as I didn't get time yesterday.

Then took the dog out again.

    Then did the ironing.

Thankfully I have a soup maker so managed to make my favourite butternut squash, chickpea and lime soup for work lunches. Did Mr SA a steak in the slow cooker and his potatoes and veg in the steamer. I had a Thai veg curry thing from Mr S, microwave meal.

So we've survived the oven free weekend - just! Hopefully it'll be up and running again tomorrow.

I'm shattered right now, can't believe how busy today's been.

Only a 4 day working week as I'm off on Friday, pottering round town in the morning then meeting retired friends for lunch, looking forward to it

Hope everyone has had a good day

    That's Monday done

Only just managed to sit down - I'm shattered!

Oven is back up and running again, unbelievably it worked fine for the repair bloke, didn't blow the fuse. He gave the fan a good clean though and emphasised the importance of running the grill to burn off grease. I must remember to do this regularly or it's going to break down again.

Dentist after work today, almost forgot. Just a check up, all ok, that's it for 6 months.

Feet up for half an hour now with an alcohol free beer, then must have an early night - yawn.

That's Tuesday and Wednesday done already I feel like I get on a merry go round on Monday morning and thrown off on Friday night!

Yoga yesterday, Pilates today, enjoyed both and I'm getting better at them, really noticing the difference in my balance and core strength.

Exchanged my £20 Nectar points for £40 in vouchers Going to spend them tomorrow lunchtime, try and pick up some bits for Christmas.

Hope everyone is having a good week so far

Yoga and Pilates can make a difference quite quickly can't they? I find them very soothing too.

Pub sounds great, I'd probably steal the cat thogh.

My oven blew up this week too, must be something in the East Mids air. Mine is 11 years old and well out of warranty sadly.

Unbelievably we had no hot water or heating this morning - yet again Sent a text to the boiler man asking him to fix it PDQ. He sorted it this morning but doesn't know why it keeps cutting out so the manufacturers are coming out tomorrow. Hopefully they'll be able to fix it for good. I just want it done while it's still under guarantee.

Spent the £40 vouchers in Mr S. Got some fairy lights, a baking tin and a few other household bits. The choice isn't the best at our Mr S.

Day off tomorrow Potter round town first then meeting friends for lunch. Really looking forward to it
