Unbelievably my very long running diary of 5 years seems to have been deleted Not happy about this to say the least

Not sure what to do about it. Need my diary to keep me sane and on track.

Had to swiftly come up with a new title, had been meaning to start a new diary but not this way.

Anyway, in brief for those who don't know, my life changed drastically 5 years ago when my OH got Lymphoma in his brain, nearly lost his life but miraculously survived, although he has permanent brain damage and is disabled. So we lost his wage and I'm now the sole breadwinner. At its highest debt was around £5k but paid off thankfully.

I try to keep as normal a life as I can.

Still really angry my old diary has gone

Oops pressed reply before I'd finished

Weather was lovely yesterday so we sat outside with the family, even DD made an appearance. GS is a nightmare though, he was throwing the sand out of the sandpit then threw the dog's balls and my pegs in the pond! After that he trashed the dining room and threw all my books on the floor! I was secretly glad when it was time for them to go. He's constantly getting told off but he doesn't care.

Today the weather's been miserable so Mr SA's wardrobe has been sorted out, he's tried on his holiday shorts and none of them fit him so unfortunately he'll need new ones. I think Tu has 25% off next week (if the rumours are right) so I'll get him some then. He's got plenty of tops thankfully.

MTG - we go a week on Tuesday but I break up this Thursday - I need time to prepare

Only 4 more work get ups Got hairdressers after work Thursday. Friday I've got the day off as I was originally meeting some friends for lunch but one can't make it so we changed it to a date when we can all get - I've recklessly promised Mr SA we can go in town. Saturday I've got a manicure and pedicure.

I am so looking forward to not having to shop, cook or clean - heaven

    That's Monday done

Typical it was warm and sunny today after yesterday's miserable weather.

Picked up yet another two bags of wood bark from Lidl on the way home, I think we've about bought them out of it, lost count of how many. Mr SA has a project on with them.

Cashed out just short of £38 from Quidco, got another £75 pending - very pleased with this as I tend to use TCB on the whole

    3 more work get ups

    That's Tuesday done

Nice day at work today, the lady I work with bought me a birthday card and bottle of Prosecco, which was lovely as I've only been working with her for 3 months Then got a £20 voucher as a thank you for helping someone out

Went to the Tu 25% off but a bit disappointed as no shorts for Mr SA. I bought two pairs of skinny stretch jeans for myself to put away for Autumn (boo), one pair was already half price then another 25% off, bargain. I live in jeans during Autumn/winter and the Tu skinny ones fit me perfectly.

Mr SA has just informed me he's found a lump in his neck

It's my birthday a week on Thursday ES but I'll be on holiday so it's an early gift. Mr SA has an appointment with his consultant at the end of the month so I'll make sure he mentions it if it's still there.

Lovely news re early birthday present and gift card. Not so good on the lump. Could it be his body trying to fight the jock rot infection and just be a gland as Mummy suggests?

I had an email from Argos advising of the 25% off Tu sale. I didnít even know Argos sold Tu. Thought Iíd let you know incase you didnít either Xx

    Wednesday already

Major panic tonight when I lost Excel from my laptop after a Windows update Restored back to previous state before update then had to reinstall Office Thankfully Excel is back and my budget spreadsheet is restored A lot of faffing about I didn't need though and I didn't get time to update finances.

Mr SA is driving me nuts today, going on about the garden and pushing for purchase of stones. I've had to say no more garden spending until after holiday, I'm sure he thinks there's an endless supply of money.

Still got a few holiday bits and bobs to buy need to buy a travel kettle, shorts for Mr SA and some toiletries.

Just one more work get up to go - the Prosecco is chilling in the fridge in readiness for tomorrow night

That's me done - off work until 3 September

Best of all I found out I've got 8 days leave left when I thought I only had 2 will have to take 3 before 31 October but I can carry 5 days over into my next leave year.

Haircut after work so it will have time to settle in time for holiday - my hair doesn't like being cut and takes a few days to calm down.

Mr M order arrived 3 hours late tonight I did get a phone call to warn me though. Still a pain though, especially as I was waiting for items needed for tonight's dinner.

Tomorrow have to go in town to get Mr SA's shorts - not an easy task as all the shops seem to have their Autumn stock out already - really who goes on holiday in August

Total nightmare shorts shopping. Nothing at all in Primark. Went all over without success, very difficult with Mr SA trying to get his scooter in and out of shops. Finally went in Sports Direct - loads of shorts in there. Got him 3 pairs XXL. I had a voucher for a free birthday drink in one pub,it was a bit early but I'd had enough by then, so cost just £3.40 for Mr SA's beer. Then Mr SA decided he was hungry so we stopped off for lunch in another pub I had yet another voucher for a free birthday drink from. It cost just £12 for his burger, chips and beer, my pizza, salad and Diet Coke plus a free Mojito

Unfortunately when we got home two pairs of the shorts are too small So I'll have to take them back and change them for XXXL or get a refund. Not happy about this to be honest He tried on the XL and they were tight so he said the next size up would be OK. It's such a faff with him trying stuff on, it takes forever with him being so immobile plus having to manoeuvre the scooter everywhere when it's busy.

Anyway back home resting my aching feet now. Not looking forward to yet another journey into town. I suppose I could leave it until Monday and go first thing.

    Get me to that sunbed!
