Unbelievably my very long running diary of 5 years seems to have been deleted Not happy about this to say the least

Not sure what to do about it. Need my diary to keep me sane and on track.

Had to swiftly come up with a new title, had been meaning to start a new diary but not this way.

Anyway, in brief for those who don't know, my life changed drastically 5 years ago when my OH got Lymphoma in his brain, nearly lost his life but miraculously survived, although he has permanent brain damage and is disabled. So we lost his wage and I'm now the sole breadwinner. At its highest debt was around £5k but paid off thankfully.

I try to keep as normal a life as I can.

Still really angry my old diary has gone

Another manic day at work, at least the day flew by.

March goals: Gym session 1/12 at lunchtime, AFD 2/12 and NSD 2/12.

Going to try Pilates for the first time tomorrow. Someone's going to take classes at work. Looking forward to it.

Bangs head against brick wall. Mr SA has heard some news about a roofing firm he used to work for being really busy. I've just spent ages explaining to him why he can't go back to roofing.

What with that and the several times he's now told me Bill Durham has got cancer (he actually rang me at work this morning to tell me!) plus him asking what he's having for his dinner on Saturday when it's only Tuesday, I'm now losing the plot

Half way through the week already

Helping out with a work event today most of the day so been really busy. Then did the Pilates which was great, I'm sure my a$$ will hurt like mad tomorrow or Friday. Then went back to my desk for a bit to find an email telling me I haven't got through the sift for the job Again This time it was because there was a personal statement on the application for which you had to use no more than 500 words to complete. I used 300 then decided I'd waffled enough. Not good enough apparently, I should've used the 500. Annoyed with myself for not realising this although this is the job where I suspected they already have someone in mind for the role, so I would've been shocked if I'd got through. Still disappointed though

Also, despite telling Mr SA I wouldn't be able to answer my phone due to event and Pilates, I had 8 missed calls from him. Rang back to find it was nothing.

On the way home I picked up a bottle of wine from Lidl and I'm having some tonight and I don't care that I can't declare another AFD.

There'll be other jobs and at least I'll be more prepared next time. I've put my toys back in the pram now

It could only happen to me. Found a dog on the way to work this morning, wandering close to the road near the city centre. It was only a little thing and looked so scared. I couldn't just leave it so took it to a nearby leisure centre where I hung around while they rang a few lost dog places. Eventually they put it behind reception while I went to work. Anyway the upshot is the stray dogs place have found the owner, really pleased about that

I don't think there's a part of my body that doesn't ache after the Pilates - and I'm used to exercise! Will be back next week for more though. Went for a run in the gym at lunchtime so that's 3/12 March gym sessions so far.

Meeting a friend for a drink tomorrow afternoon, don't see her very often as she lives on the Yorkshire coast. Looking forward to it.

All I can say is it's been an eventful week!

Had a lovely catch up with my friend. We were that busy chatting I ended up staying longer than I planned.

Mr SA fell in the pond today trying to feed the birds. I asked him if he'd retrieved the dog's lost balls while he was in there but he wasn't amused.

Got back home to find the dog had bought me some flowers and a card for Mother's Day.

And that's it really, no other news. Last two items a bit surreal

    Happy Friday folks
