QDR LBCCC or another Debt Collectors letter? 12th Jan 18 at 4:03 PM
    Hello,

I have read the newbies thread don't worry, but since reading that and other threads regarding QDR and their letters I am unsure whether I have received an LBCCC or just another debt collectors letter used as a scare tactic?

The PCN was issued by One Parking Solutions Ltd in October.

Since then I have received 2 letters from OPS, 2 from ZZPS and this is my first from QDR.

Sorry for making a new thread but I was just looking for some clarification and don't want to make a mistake. Do I ignore or do I write back with the recommended reply stated by Johnersh I believe.

Thank you for all your help!

    Phil

That letter from QDR is not a letter before claim.

Is this related to your earlier thread?

If so, why do we need a new thread?

    Sorry KeithP,

I am useless at all this stuff. Shall I delete this thread and re-edit my earlier thread dating back about a month?

Fantastic KeithP, so advice would be continue to ignore?

Am I correct in thinking that only One Parking Solutions can consider taking me to court not QDR or ZZPS?

may i suggest returning to the car park and CAREFULLY read the signage , check the FULL company name and number Mr Val St John Capon has recently closed a lot of his parking companies , and/or they have left relevent AOS , in quite a few cases with this company , the signage reflected either non trading or non AOS companies

    Hello Pappa,

Is this meant to be concerning then? Sorry AOS?

I will be in the car park soon, would you like me to take a photo of the signage?

Concerning for them or myself KeithP?

Ill take a photo of the signage tomorrow and post on here. I know for a fact that the signage hasn't been changed for a few years, although the parking rules have done.

I seem to recall that the company has only recently (12 mths?) joined the BPA , so if signage reflects "several yrs ago" , then it could be deficient

Ok this seems promising then right? So if the signage is not tip-top meeting all the required AOS standards, in theory they have no case?

I'm not going back to your other thread, but doesn't your PCN say something like you formed a contract when you parked and agreed to pay £xx if you overstayed (or whatever it is you are accused of doing wrong)?

If the other party to the contract doesn't exist, then there is no agreement, there is no contract, therefore you are not liable for any payment.

This NTK says that they are only pursuing you as keeper 'on the assumption' that the keeper was the driver:

    http://photobucket.com/gallery/user/phil2305/media/bWVkaWFJZDo3NTQ1MDYxMA==/?ref=

Well they can't assume that, and you do not have to assist them in identifying the driver. Never imply who was driving and you can't be held liable and would have a defence in court (claims are very rare from OneParking, but you know that from reading the NEWBIES thread already, we hope).

I would ignore that letter from QDR, as it's not a LBCCC - but by now I would have expected you have searched the forum for 'QDR' (or even simply Googled them and the word parking) and found this out already. Easy to research.
PRIVATE PCN? DON'T PAY BUT DO NOT IGNORE IT TWO Clicks needed for advice:
Top of the page: Home>>Forums>Household & Travel>Motoring>Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking - read the 'NEWBIES' FAQS thread!
Advice to ignore is WRONG, unless in Scotland/NI.
