Credit balance too high 11th Jan 18 at 5:13 PM
I recently took out a 25k loan to cover costs of starting up a business as well as providing a cash buffer for said business, but have now seen it appear on my credit file as a balance of 27,749 - does anybody know why this is and if the difference is likely to have much effect on my rating (which has obviously taken a hit as a result of the loan anyway)?

It is probably being reported as the total amount payable.

The difference is negligible in terms of how lenders will view it.
