day boat hire in the lake district 10th Jan 18 at 4:40 PM
I fancy hiring a boat for the day in the lake district. Which is the best lake to do this on?
    Looking for recommendations and ideas.

Lake Windermere. If I can recall there are several places around Bowness In Windermere boat launch area for the pleasure cruisers that advertise boat hire.

I would prefer to hire a boat on Derwentwater. The scenery is a lot better than the middle section of Windermere. You can hire a small motor boat directly from where the Keswick launch departs.
