    Just as I thought I'd exhausted every bank...up pops NatWest with a switch offer! 125 for switching, and no direct debits required. All you need to do is:
    • switch a non-NatWest account
    • deposit 1,500
    • log into online or mobile banking
    All before 16 March (although you need to apply for the account by 16 February).

    Nothing yet for me or my husband. I'm sure it will be fine but I am curious as to the order. We have surnames very early in the alphabet and sort codes starting 51 so it isn't that. We applied on the first day but who knows?

    Nothing yet for me or my husband either, but we only applied on 29th January.

    One word of advice: don't bother making enquiries via the online chat!

    I contacted them yesterday to be told all payments had already been made, so if mine hadn't arrived it was because I didn't qualify. When I explained I'd satisfied all the criteria I was told this would be escalated.

    My husband then made his own enquiry via online chat, to be told they would still be processing payments up to the 13th.

    A further advisor this morning told me no one would be receiving payments until after the 13th! Unbelievable how poorly trained the staff seem to be.

    Anyway that led to me receiving a call just now from the complaints dept who have confirmed that a) I do qualify and b) all payments will be processed by close of business tomorrow Friday 13th.

    Hope that helps anyone else who's still waiting.

    Unbelieveable how poorly trained NatWest customers seem to be! The T&Cs say you will be paid by the 13th. 37 hours to go.

    I have made multiple payments into the Natwest account that exceed 1,500 in total, but no single payment of that amount or above. Does that mean I am ineligible?

    Yeh me too.. I did everything that they required but had a lot of trouble opening the account, as their online ID checking didn't work. Fingers crossed! I definitely have POA

    That's me done now ... done 'em all!

    ... and with reduced interest rates ... I'm now closing lots of accounts and paying off my mortgage ... so will be mortgage free in a few months
