NatWest 125 switch incentive 10th Jan 18 at 1:56 PM
Just as I thought I'd exhausted every bank...up pops NatWest with a switch offer! 125 for switching, and no direct debits required. All you need to do is:
    • switch a non-NatWest account
    • deposit 1,500
    • log into online or mobile banking
All before 16 March (although you need to apply for the account by 16 February).

    Happy days!

Still waiting on payment. The frustrating thing is not knowing whether it's just not my turn in the queue yet or whether I did something wrong so as to not qualify for the bonus. I *think* I did everything correctly...

Got my 125 yesterday afternoon. Immediately applied for First Direct. At the end of the process they said they'd get back to me in five working days with a decision. Is this just a nice way of saying "jog on"? Has anyone been accepted immediately?

I'm not superkeen on applying to M&S as they're not offering cash. Which just leaves Halifax and its 75.

I got mine this afternoon! I wasn't expecting it until Friday either, so was a pleasant surprise.
100 more for my house deposit.

Even if the bonus isn't as instantly gratifying it's better to have it than not have it.

Plus there's the 5% regular saver.

The (mildly) frustrating thing on these type of threads is when forumites are trying to be helpful but use language such as 'it's just arrived'. This leads hopeful others to literally understand that the 125 has just arrived that minute and check and recheck and repeat each time it's posted.

What these forumites (on the whole) probably mean is 'it's arrived since I last checked x hours (or days) ago'.

Can I suggest marking Mchambers posts as Spam is far easier than responding and makes the threads far better to read when they are removed.
