Parking fine NCP 10th Jan 18 at 1:40 PM
Hi all, first time poster. Sorry about starting a new thread its just I didn't really follow what I had to do and believe my case is different (I know this is frowned upon, sorry again!!).

The car was parked overnight at an NCP car park in Sheffield on the 16th December at around 11:30pm. The driver, assumed Sundays were free and couldn't find a way to pay anywhere (the box where you normally pay was covered up.) They left the car in the empty car park. They got to the car on the 17th Dec at 8:15am to find the car had a windscreen ticket from NCP which was left at 6:40am! I have not done ANYTHING as registered keeper with regards this as the Newbies thread says leave 26 days! I logged in to the NCP ticket and it turns out the car park is a pay by phone (which I genuinely didn't know).

Do I stand a chance at an appeal? If so, what process should I use?

    Sorry again!!

You will be appealing on or about day 25/26 as the "Registered Keeper", using the blue template(for BPA members) as listed in the NEWBIES THREAD, send as is without any alterations , make sure you add your name and address to the NCP online appeal.

First of all you need to edit your post to remove information about who did what.
Only ever refer to The Driver and The Keeper, who are two different people.

After that, you follow the advice above from cgh01.

the Newbies thread says leave 26 days
Yep, and the reason for the delay is explained there. And how you then obviously win at POPLA, clearly...no NTK!!
PRIVATE PCN? DON'T PAY BUT DO NOT IGNORE IT TWO Clicks needed for advice:
Top of the page: Home>>Forums>Household & Travel>Motoring>Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking - read the 'NEWBIES' FAQS thread!
Advice to ignore is WRONG, unless in Scotland/NI.
