Hi we are with BGas pre payment meter for both our services i have today tried to go back to a normal meter i.e monthly direct debit they say we have not passed the credit check to do this . We are on a DMP with pay plan and as such seems unfair that we cannot change to a lower tariff does anyone know who would accept us to move from pre payment to monthly DD ? Just to clarify there is no debt owed on either the gas or electric

BG have a reputation for being very pernickety about the credit rating of customers who want to swap a PAYGO meter for a Credit meter.

EDF have a more relaxed attitude, so a Switch to them could help
